AgriVolga's agricultural holding began producing organic goat cheese, Capra Classico

The Russian line of products produced with organic goat milk is growing. AgriVolga introduced Capra Classico, a new goat cheese to the market. Russian customers are increasingly interested in organic goat milk products, which are priced competitively with industrial goat dairy products but are unquestionably higher in quality.

Capra Classico, a new goat cheese created by the domestic agricultural company AgriVolga, is now available in Russia. According to Anna Khvorostyanaya, director of the strategic marketing department of the agricultural holding AgriVolga and a candidate of economic sciences, goat milk products are produced in Russia in relatively small volumes—up to 4 thousand tonnes per year—but demand for this category is fairly stable. "Million Insights evaluated the worldwide goat milk market at $10.8 billion in 2020, with a forecast growth to $14.5 billion by 2028.The global compound annual growth rate (CAGR) is 3.8%, reflecting the growing trend of healthy eating and self-care. Nutritionists and healthy eating experts are actively improving their clients' nutritional plans by including goat milk products into their daily diet.”

AgriVolga Agroholding, one of Russia's pioneers in organics, set up a new production line in 2022 to produce organic goat milk products. It is worth mentioning that goat's milk and products based on it are unique in terms of consumer health benefits, as they are easier for digestion, rich in fatty acids and calcium, and are quite competitive with industrial goat dairy products pricewise while being superior in quality," emphasises Elena Yashaeva, General Director of the AgriVolga agricultural holding.

In 2021, AgriVolga Holding acquired a herd of Toggenburg breed goats in Austria. AgriVolga began producing "pasteurised goat's milk" in 2022, and after a while, new products from this manufacturer's goat's milk appeared on the shelves of Russian stores: Buch-des-Chevres and Fromage Fré cheeses, followed by Tomino Dicapra cheese, all organic and produced under the brand "Ugleche Pole." The holding has recently begun to produce a new goat cheese, Capra Classico. This organic product is also sold under the brand of "Ugleche Pole."

"We are delighted to introduce the new Capra Classico cheese to customers. In just two years, our company, "AgriVolga," has launched a complete line of goat's milk products, which is a significant breakthrough. This result displays the high level of professionalism shown by the holding's specialists. Our premium products are in direct competition with global equivalents. We are seeing an increase in customer interest in goat milk, which is rich in vitamins and low in allergens, as well as goat cheeses, which have an exceptionally delicate flavour," said Sergey Bachin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AgriVolga Agroholding.
